Hey there — we are Shadow Pine Construction, a family-owned and operated company based in Lino Lakes, Minnesota.
While Shadow Pine was officially founded in 2022, our roots in construction go much deeper. With over 16 years of experience in the industry — spanning residential, commercial, and specialty trades — we bring a wide range of knowledge and hands-on expertise to every project we take on.
What began as a one-man operation focused on small renovations and finish carpentry has grown into a full-service team offering general contracting, drafting and design, additions, renovations, & more. We specialize in custom projects that require creative thinking and thoughtful execution — the kinds of jobs that benefit from both craftsmanship and collaboration.
Shadow Pine is proudly family-run, with Amber (our Pine Ops Director) managing operations behind the scenes, and Shadow, our four-legged Pawject Manager — the most important role on the team, obviously — keeping morale high and spirits lifted.

Jacob Teske - Drafting & Technology
Jacob plays a key role in Shadow Pine Construction’s in-house drafting efforts, combining design technology with a thoughtful approach to each project. He works to translate client ideas into accurate, code-ready construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
While still early in his construction career, Jacob approaches each project with curiosity, focus, and a strong commitment to quality. He develops plans for additions, renovations, and custom projects — integrating input from trusted third-party structural professionals to ensure each design is both visually cohesive and structurally sound.
Whether he’s refining 3D models or coordinating layout details, Jacob is dedicated to producing clear, reliable plans that help keep the building process smooth from concept through permitting.
Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hunting, learning new skills, and spending time with his wife, Sam.
